He prefers to ride them for their first 20 - 30 days and then turn them over to others. Because of this he wants to prove that he can turn out the most gentle, easy going babies in that short of a period of time. And look good doing it.

Riding History: Silas was a sport junkie as a young child. He played softball, hockey, soccer, lacrosse and rode - not all at the same time, but never the less, he played them all. His favourites were soccer and horseback riding, and after damaging his shin playing lacrosse he wasn't able to keep up with his sports, other than riding. Therefore he was completely dedicated to riding by the age of 13. Since Silas is terribly driven young boy, he would ride every day and clean upwards of 25 stalls a day as well as do various chores for the local stable he rode at. They'd put him up on different horses and by the time he was 16 they had him working on their greenies and helping them foal out their mares. He camped at the stables innumerable times and even foaled out mares by himself and dealt with breech foals and hiplocked foals. He attended AEA for a year before leaving to travel to Europe, and then returned again to take lessons. This year he was hired on as a trainer and he is now taking this job very seriously.
