It was near the end of the day when Neveah drove her horse trailer, with Nymeria inside, up to AEA's barn. She had already talked to the barn manager, and a stall was laid out for Myre.
Neveah parked, then laid her head against the head rest, and closed her eyes. She was exhausted from driving all the way from Burlington, Ontario. It had taken her 3 days, as Myre was a horrible traveller. As if she knew that Neveah was thinking of her, Myre started making a fuss, kicking and shaking the trailer. "Oh I'm coming," Neveah muttered as she undid her seat belt, got out of the truck, and ran to the trailer. She grabbed a lead rope, undid the ramp, and attached the rope to Myre's halter. She was making a fuss, tossing her head, and threattening to rear. Neveah undid the gate of the loose box (Nymeria couldn't travel tied. She had a royal flip out.)and the horse launched herself out of the trailer, nearly knocking Neveah down in the process. Then she stood, her head high in the air, and ears pricked full forward. She let out a blasting neigh that nearly deafened her handler, and Neveah swore out loud.
She really disliked this horse. Myre was Neveah's parent's replacement for Nimrod, an absolute saint of a horse who was killed in a tragic cross country accident, that had left Neveah terrified of jumping. She had only taken Myre because she needed another horse, and she couldn't say no to her parents. After all, they had done so much for her.
Neveah walked, or more correctly, was dragged by her mare into the stables, who had to squeal and nip at all of the horses who were sticking their heads out of their stalls to great her. Finally Neveah reached her horse's stall and pulled her inside. There was a full hay bag hanging, and Myre immediatly tore into it. Neveah took advantage of her horse's stillness to remove her travelling gear, and leave her to settle in.
Relieved that everything had gone smoothly, Neveah slumped against the stall door. In all honesty, she was scared of her own horse. Myre had bullied her since the first time she had handelled her, and it had gotten continually worse and worse.
She hoped that she would find help in the trainers of AEA, because she couldn't give up on a horse her parents gave her.
She sighed as she headed back to the trailer to continue unloading

P.S. Neveah needs friends. She has been homeschooled her whole life so she is socially akward, and she has no idea what to do around boys, etc. And I guess you can say she's been sheltered.
I apologize for any mistakes. I am typing this on a BlackBerry and it's hard to make changes
