"Whoa. Steady boy, steady." Lacy cooed to the big stallion. He pranced at the end of the long twenty-two foot rope. Lacy let him have the rope and laughed slightly as he arched his neck and snorted slightly before continuing his prance towards the round pen. Champagne was pretty new to her. She'd bought him as soon as she'd got over from the UK. She'd fallen in love with his personality straight away and was sold because he was proving a challenge to everyone. Lacy liked a challenge.
Arriving at the round pen she opened the gate and let the big dun horse in. She closed the gate and unclipped Champagne. He pranced around. Sniffing the ground and letting out a big neigh. He stood in the middle of the arena and pawed the ground. Lacy pulled her long blonde hair up into a loose knot. A few strands fell out and she tucked them behind her ear. Watching the horse intently as he made himself at home. He was a very confident horse who quite happily got down and rolled in the middle of the round pen. Leaping up he leapt into the air and galloped around. "Go steady boy," her strong english accent rang round the pen as she tried to make the horse calm down.
It was a while before Lacy deemed the horse calm enough to try and work with. Walking up to him she stroked his neck and clipped the rope back onto his rope halter. Champ reached down and sniffed Lacy, "So what do you feel like doing then boy?" she asked him. Letting the rope out a bit she walked forward slightly, asking him to follow with a short tug on the rope. The stallion responded by rushing past her, Lacy was knocked off her feet and felt the rope rip through her hand as he reared and spun round. Attempting to gallop off but Lacy was quickly on her feet and pulling him back. "Ok, so thats how you want to play." she said. Staring at the stallion who stared back at her, blowing through his nostrils. She dusted the dirt of her jodphurs. Sighing as she saw how dirty her pale pink polo top and Navy Jodphurs were. She kicked the dirt with her long black boot. "Right," she said. She gathered up the rope and unclipped it from the big stallion. Flicking the rope out at him and making him move out around her. He trotted around her in a big circle before decided to turn in a rear. Lacy flicked the rope over to him and made him move in the opposite direction. Moving towards him and making him change direction several times. It wasn't long before he was really starting to watch what she was doing.
Several moments had passed whilst she was working with the horse, lost in a world of her own. He was getting more and more in tune with her. Watching her every move to see when to change direction. Running back slightly she watched as he turned toward her and stood. Not quite understanding what to do. Lacy stood there for a few minutes before the stallion took some steps towards her. She smiled as she knew he now fully listening to her, fully intrigued by her. She reached her hand out and the dun stallion sniffed it. Lacy hadn't even noticed someone come up to the round pen she'd be so wrapped up in the horse.

Brian walked around his grey color 1996 dodge charger. It was his life. He had put so much working into this car. He is very proud of it. Brian was about to head to the school to find the barn owner. He was wanting to know what forms and things he needed to get together to board a horse at the AEA stables. He had when to the open horse auction and bidded on a horse. Looked like a fine horse too. Brain couldn't wait to see if he got him. He was ready to get more into the horse world and maybe become a trainer on his free time. Brian was dressed in a white tank top and kaki shorts. He finished his outfit off with a pair of brown flip flops. One thing Brian had going for him what that he was bulit and big. He had always been to working out and sports when he was younger. He still worked out and had the body to prove it. He had a nice dark tan going on too.
Brain opened the driver door and slid into the black leather seat. He crunk up the car. His muscules tensed as the engined roared under the hood. Sometimes to him hearing that sound was better than sex. He sat there for a moment and just listened to the sound before backing out of the drive. He headed for the school. He turned the radio to a rock station. Soon he turned into the school parking lot. He parked and looked around for a moment. He killed the engine and got out of the car. He walked around the car and headed toward the stable.
Soon he came near a round pen. He stopped for a moment as he seen a blonde and a dun looking horse in the pen. He watched as the horse tested her, but she kept working at him until he calmed down. He walked up to the fence and watched a few more minutes before saying something. He clear his throat as to not scare her. 'Hello there miss. Need some help?' His voice came deep and brode like always. He waited a moment he figured he'd tell her his name. 'By the way my name it Brian...Brian O'Conner.' He smiled to her.

Champagne flicked his ears back and forward as he stepped closer to Lacy. Who pulled a treat from her jodphur pocket and offered it to the stallion. He sniffed it curiously before taking it from her hand and crunching on it. "There you go, see. I'm not all bad," she spoke softly to the horse. Reaching up and running a hand down his face. He jumped slightly still not trusting her fully. He snorted but Lacy continued to rub his ears until her relaxed and lowered his head slightly.
'Hello there miss. Need some help?' the voice behind her made her jump. Champ's head shot up and he leapt to the side, startled by the man. She really had her work cut out with this horse. "Your okay Champ," she told the horse, who snorted in response. He arched his neck and took a few steps over to the person at the fence. Reaching his head out to sniff at him.
"I'm okay. We're just getting use to each other." she told the man, Brian he said his name was. "I've not had Champagne long and he's quite the challenge," she laughed slightly, "I'm Lacy," she said watching the horse step backwards and walk towards the other side of the round pen away from Lacy and Brian.
She walked over to the fence where Brian was stood and noticed his attire. He wasn't really dressed for the stables so she guessed he was either new here or new to horses. "Can I help you?" she asked, "You look pretty new here, I haven't seen you around before." 'And I would have certainly noticed you' she added in her head, noticing his well muscled body. She smiled to herself, 'About time they got some real men round here'. She looked away quickly in a hope he hadn't seen her looking. _________

Now he felt like an ass. How more stupid could he get. He groaned at himself. He watched as the horse moved over to check him out. He reached his hand out to let the horse sniff him but the stepped back from him. "I'm okay. We're just getting use to each other."I've not had Champagne long and he's quite the challenge," She laugh then told him her name was Lacy. He watched as the stallion moved away from them when she walked over to the fence where he stood. He watched her as she walked over. He was great looking. Beauty face and nice soft eyes. He smiled to himself as she spoke to him again. "Can I help you? You look pretty new here, I haven't seen you around before."
He looked to her and answer her question. 'Yea I'm new around here. I just moved here about a week ago. I may be getting a horse soon so I was looking for the barn manger to ask about boarding a horse here.' His voice cam deep and broded like usual. He smiled as he caught her eyes moving over him. He didn't mind it. Most women did it when they first met. He fould himself looking at her as well. He noticed her eyes were blue. He didn't know why but something about a women with blue eyes just.... Brian shook his head reframing from his thoughts.
'Lacy, I'm sorry about scaring you and your horse. I wasn't thinking. I had just seen you had fell and figure I'd ask if you'd like some help. I really am sorry.' His deep voice held a gentle edge to it. He looked over to the dun stallion. He couldn't wait to get his own horse and start working with them. He looked back to Lacy. 'He's a beautiful horse.

Champagne pawed the ground eagerly. Keeping an eye on Lacy and Brian as he did so. He sank to his knees on the soft sand and started rolling around. Lacy giggled to herself, he certainly could put on an act when he wanted to. Champagne jumped up and shook the loose dirt from his coat. His dun coat now covered in creamy sand. Lacy sighed, now he'd need another good groom.
She listened to Brian's deep voice. She found she could probably have listened to him talk all day. "Well, I don't know where the Barn Manager is currently. I think she might have gone out to look at some sale horses." Lacy paused briefly, "Your welcome to come with me and we'll see if we can find her? I've just got to take Champagne back to his stable and give him a groom, is that ok?" she asked. She leaned against the fence, she hadn't realized till now how much her hip was hurting. She must have landed on it when Champagne pushed her over. She'd probably be a bit stiff tomorrow and have a nice bruise.
She listened as he apologized for scaring her and Champagne. "It's okay, it's instinct to check someones ok when you see them fall," she said, watching Champagne as he walked over and started searching for more treats, "Besides, Champagne wasn't really scared. He's just really good at acting." She laughed as he nibbled at her pocket. Lacy reached in and pulled out another treat. Clipping the long rope onto the stallions halter as he crunched the mint flavored treat. Brian commented on how beautiful the big stallion was and Lacy smiled, "Thank you, He knows he's beautiful too, thats the problem with him."
Walking to the gate, she felt her hip seizing up already. She needed a good bath when she got home. She'd probably be more eager to get home if it wasn't so lonely. She opened the gate. "Let's go get this guy sorted, then i'll find out where out Barn Manager has got too." Lacy smiled to Brian and waited for him to lead the way to the barn.
