The stallion sneered, tugging at the tethered rope of the longing line attached to his snaffle bit. His muscles worked like a clock, rotating as he cantered out along the railings of the round pen. A firm clicking tapped against the trainer's teeth as she clicked the whip a few feet from his back hooves. Cameo neighed loudly and continued cantering, the power in his body very slowly inventing but Silver knew it wasn't enough for the Ottb. Smiling Silver slowly wrapped more of the longing along her wrist, whistling and slowing the hot blood down. His lovely liver bodice began to relax up as he slowed to a trot and back to a slow walk. "Atta boy!" Silver cooed him, walking over to his shoulder, slightly tugging some mane from under the white saddle pad. He snorted quietly before looking outwards, ears flicked forwards.
Silver gazed up at him before reaching up and stroking his cheekbone with a sigh. "I know you miss the track boy.. I know.." One could only imagine how a horse fresh of the track would feel, not having the same adrenaline rush as before. There weren't deadlines, jockeys and cameras in your face. This, my friend, was a much more relaxed lifestyle that the brute was getting used to eventually. Gently running a hand down to his nose, she slowly unhooked the longing rein and coiled it up, setting it on one of the ring planks and smiling to him. Walking over to his side, the leggy chestnut bobbed his head up and down before Silver reached for the stirrup, her other hang collecting on the base of his neck, grasping the mane and heaving herself up, swinging her leg over his back. Grunting she sat on his back, slightly adjusting her hips into the leather English saddle, collecting the reins up some as the stallion sidestepped and bobbed his head.
Clicking her tongue, she squeezed her ankles on his barrel, asking for a loose trot from the edgy male. Cameo snorted and bounced forward, asking for more lead but Silver didn't budge, keeping him firmly collected as his hips swung around and he started trotting small figure eights. His mane would tap against his thick neck roughly as his tried to switch leads on Silver, moving to a canter, but again she kept him line in. Huffing, he grew quiet and trotted onward quietly, circle after circle.

Informed that,i was to exercise her as she had been in a stall too lomg lf late - what with her student in trouble all the time. The liver chestnut mare fidgetted, tossing her head. Fully saddled she would work empty of a rider anyway. I wanted to lunge her, not ride her today.
She led easy, despite me being a stranger. Her dark brown eyes, however focused on everything else around us, Particulalry Cameo and his current handler. I paused, letting her investigate, wondering if she'd ever seen other horses worked, or worked with them. Probably not. She seemed to be one of those isolated mares.
" alright now, you've had your look, c'mon girl " my goal was a corral beyond these two, but it was hard to stop watching. It was interesting to see how another trainer handled the same horse I worked with so often- it was odd to see how similar and different our methods were. The mare squealed, calling out to Cameo, a move sure to cause trouble, and flicked her head back away from me. " hey now, c'mon girl. " I gave a gentle tug on her lead, to which she balked before attempting to slowly back her away from the fence, one slow step at a time. If that was the stimulant, then I would remove it as soon as possible. I don't know her, how she handles, reacts, I don't feel like risking my life just to learn when there are safer ways.
